The 17th Alzheimer’s Australia Biennial National Dementia Conference is currently open for online registration. Please read the information carefully before beginning the online registration.

Registration Entitlements

Full Registration

Includes full family carer, person with dementia and student rates

  • Attendance at all sessions during the Conference
  • Daily catering including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
  • Ticket to the Welcome Reception (Wednesday 18 October)

Day Registration

  • Entry to all Conference sessions on the day of your registration
  • Catering including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on the day of your registration

All fees are quoted in Australian dollars ($AUD) and are inclusive of 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax).

Method of Payment

Payment of registration fees must accompany all registrations. No registration will be confirmed until payment is received. Payment can be made by the following methods:

Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club.

If you are making a credit card payment from a country outside Australia, for security reasons you must first advise your banking institution of the impending charge and authorise them to allow the charge to Australia to go through. Please note that charges to your credit card will appear as being from "ICMS Australasia Pty Ltd" on your bank statement.

Made payable to AAC2017. Payment must be made in Australian dollars and be free of all charges.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Deadline: Friday 18 August 2017

Cancellations must be made in writing to the conference secretariat. Cancellations received prior to 18 August 2017 will receive a full refund minus a $150 administration fee. Cancellations received after 18 August 2017 will not be refunded. Substitute delegates will be accepted.

Failure to obtain the appropriate visa to travel to Australia does not constitute a refund. The Conference Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.

Disclaimer

While we will endeavour to present the program as advertised, the Conference organisers reserve the right to alter, without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the Conference, for any reasons outside of their reasonable control. The organising committee will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alterations. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the organising committee will not accept responsibility for the loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policies to cover personal possessions. Individuals are not covered by the organising committee against cancellations of bookings or the theft or damage of belongings.
